In addition, women’s bangs may now touch their eyebrows, but not cover their eyes. Weekly OPORDs will be published stating uniform of the day (UOD). For AFS classes, refer to your syllabus or your instructor for UOD. SPRING BOARDSFY22 Rated & USSF 13S Selection Board, Det Susp: 27 Jan 211. The Rated & USSF 13S selection board for FY22 categorization is scheduled to be held 15-19 February 2021. The selection process is outlined in AFROTCI 36-2011, Cadet Operations, paragraph 14.2 & 14.3. The planned release date for the board results is early March. The boards will be held simultaneously this year2. All cadets who have a Rated or Rated-Tech EA will compete in the Rated board for all rated AFSCs for which they are eligible. Cadets who are interested in competing for a Rated position (regardless of EA) MUST log in to WINGS and self-nominate themselves before 27 Jan 21 for board and preference consideration. This will allow cadre to complete cadet eligibility verification and endorsements by 1 Feb 21.? Additionally, all cadets should ensure PCSM data is updated prior to the board.3. As with FY21 Rated board, there are still no height restrictions to compete for Pilot and CSO rated AFSCs. See attached Rated Board Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for more details.4. Cadets interested in USSF 13S career field must self-nominate/volunteer through the Career Interest page inWINGS and acknowledge that if selected they WILL commission into the USSF. Participants will be immersed in their mission through shadow programs, mission briefs, and simulator rides while focusing on leadership and professional development. The event will be held in two sessions, 8 POC cadets per session, at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Follow-on TDYs are planned for Dyess and Malstrom AFBs.?Session 1: 7-25 Jun 21 Departure/Return Travel dates: 6 and 26 Jun 21?Session 2: 12-30 Jul 21 Departure/Return Travel dates: 11 and 31 Jul 21 ?To be eligible for the AFGSC SIP, cadets MUST meet the following requirements:?a. The AFWERX Internship takes place over the spring semester and is aimed at problem solving and enhancing the effectiveness of the Air & Space Force. Cadets are assigned active projects in the Air and Space community. AFWERX is looking for AS300 and AS400 cadets who can dedicate 4-10 hours weekly throughout the spring semester for virtual project support. 2. The following are the focus areas of the Spring 2021 projects: technology development, policy/strategy development and research, business process development/improvement, event coordination and marketing, and space specific initiatives. 3.
