IMPORTANT LAB NEWS

Pain Management Drug Screen

Beginning April 1, 2014 the Elliot Hospital Laboratory will offer urine testing for the management of patients on opioid based pain medication. Testing will include both screening and confirmatory assays and will be performed either at the Elliot Hospital Laboratory or our primary reference laboratory, ARUP. Please note that the routine screening test (OPD6), performed at the Elliot Hospital Laboratory does not contain the following groups: Ethanol, opiates and PCP.

The testing being offered is as follows:
