B. New Regulation Changes. Material new to this change is indicated by yellow highlighting and is effective IAW the date of this change unless otherwise indicated.
C. Applicable MAP and/or CAP Items and Brief of Revisions. This change includes all material and revisions written in the following MAP and/or CAP Items:
MAP/CAP 36-21(E) ? Travel to Obtain a Vaccination. Inserts a paragraph in the JTR to allow reimbursement of standard travel and transportation allowances for Service members and civilian employees who must travel to obtain a required vaccination that cannot be obtained at a Military Treatment Facility (MTF). Affects par. 033012.
MAP 40-21(R) ? Fort Knox TLE Extension. Adds the Fort Knox, KY Military Housing Area (KY110) as a location to receive up to 60 days of Temporary Lodging Expense (TLE). The effective date of the TLE extension will be on the date of approval by the PDTATAC Chair. In accordance with 37 U.S.C. ?474 and ?403, locations that are experiencing a sudden influx of personnel to the installation may request an extension of TLE up to 60 days. Affects par. 050601.
CAP 49-21(I) ? Remove Reference to Civilian Employee on Administrative Leave. Removes the last sentence in JTR paragraph 033012 regarding a civilian employee in an administrative leave status for the vaccine. The Office of Personnel Management published Safe Workplace Guidance on September 22, 2021 which directs civilian employees to remain in a regular (RG) status, so the sentence is no longer necessary.
MAP/CAP 52-21(I) ? Miscellaneous Corrections. Corrects miscellaneous minor errors throughout the JTR. Affects the Title Page and pars. 020315 and 054305.
