These Rules were prepared by the Judges of the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, in collaboration with the federal bar.

It is so ordered that these Rules, as amended, shall apply to all actions commenced on or after January 1, 2021, and, insofar as just and practicable, all actions then pending.
