Directs the activities of academic services including the registrar’s office, academic technology and website coordination, International Honors Program, accreditation and curricular processes, and liaison responsibilities with financial aid, student accounts, and information technology services. Holds a dual appointment on the School of Education and Social Science faculty as an associate professor, Secondary Education and Graduate Studies.

Directed 3 full-time and 8 adjunct faculty, plus 1 full-time and 4 part-time staff in support of the School of Education’s Program in Instructional Technology. Successfully petitioned the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the National Council for Accreditation of College of Teacher Education (NCATE) for accreditation certification of technology programs involving undergraduate, graduate (masters and certificate), and 32 post-graduate doctoral candidates. Annual budget exceeds $350,000 with additional funding provided by private endowments and foundations exceeding $1.4 million over the past four years.

• Recognised Teacher, University of Ulster, Northern Ireland. A recognised teacher in the United Kingdom is a person who, not part of the academic staff of the university, is invited to engage in teaching, supervision, assessment and examination of students taking university courses.
