MEDIA GUIDELINES

Air Force has media availability to practices on Monday and Tuesday of each game week. Media is

allowed to photograph and video Monday and Tuesday practices for pre-practice and the first two

periods (about 30 minutes). Coach Troy Calhoun and two Air Force players selected by the coach

will be available on Tuesdays before practice. Calhoun will start at 12:30 p.m. followed by players

from 1-1:30 p.m. All interviews will take place in the temporary media room, located in a trailer in

the parking lot between the Falcon Athletic Center and Holaday Athletic Center, overlooking the

practice fields. Media wishing to participate can contact Troy Garnhart for a call-in number. All

photo and video must be done on the outside of the fields in a designated location.

Post-game interviews will take place in the media room in the tunnel at Falcon Stadium. Post-game

for road games will be in a designated area, which will be announced each game. Out of an abundance of caution and the protection of Air Force coaches and players, all interviews will be done in

press conference style with social distancing between media and players. Current Defense Department and Air Force Academy rules require all individuals to wear a mask inside Academy facilities.

All individuals who have not been fully vaccinated must wear masks outside on military installations. Lastly, media wishing to come on base for any press conference or practices must notify Troy

Garnhart to gain clearance to the base.
