University of San Francisco Transfer Update Fall 2020

University of San Francisco- Transfer Update

FALL 2020 DEADLINE - NOVEMBER 1, 2021

USF's priority deadline for spring 2021 transfer is coming up in just one month on November 1,

2020. USF is admitting transfers for all majors and all domestic students will be considered

for transfer merit scholarships automatically and, if a FAFSA is submitted, need-based aid.

We'll begin releasing decisions in early October on a rolling basis with the exception of nursing,

which will see decisions at the beginning of November.

STREAMLINED TRANSFER APPLICATION + FEE WAIVER

We know that a confusing and lengthy application is a barrier for transfer students. Therefore,

USF has introduced a new streamlined transfer application available

at . We are no longer accepting the Common Application.

You can see our updated admission process and eligibility information

here:

To support students where the application fee might be a barrier, students just need to select

the "USF Dons Fee Waiver" option when filling out the Additional Questions section of the

application and we'll waive the fee.

VIRTUAL ON-THE-SPOT TRANSFER ADMISSION APPOINTMENTS

While we can't be on your campus for in-person events, we still want to connect. In our quest to

provide a more personalized experience for transfer students, the Office of Undergraduate

Admission is offering daily 30-minute virtual 1:1 counseling appointments for transfer students.

This is a great chance for students to learn more about USF and the transfer process in an

intimate setting. And, if a student is seeking admission for spring 2021 for any major but

nursing, we are able to offer an on-the-spot admission.
