Use First-Class Mail if you are sending a standard letter up to 3.5 ounces and you don't require USPS tracking.

Letter Rates

The First-Class Mail Letter (1 oz.) retail rate will increase 5 cents to $0.55 from $0.50 in 2018. Each additional ounce will cost an extra $0.15 (a 6 cent decrease from 2018).
