Academic Transfer of Credits

Selected students will need to take a minimum of two courses related to sustainable community development/civil society with the ability to take further courses if desired. Costs and Financial Support

Selected students will receive a $3,500 Cdn stipend for this exchange program. This is intended to offset costs incurred by traveling and living abroad. There are no foreign tuition fees, tuition fees are payable to Carleton University in advance of the exchange.

An important consideration to note is the stipend is intended to help offset a portion of the costs incurred by traveling and living abroad, and is not meant to cover all expenses. You must ensure you have sufficient funding to cover additional living/travelling expenses.

During your time abroad, you will be responsible for costs relating to but not limited to: airfare and transportation, accommodations, health insurance, passport/visa costs (where applicable), textbooks and personal expenses, etc.

Selection Process

We will consider applicants from a wide variety of academic disciplines and the selection will be based on your academic record, active interest in sustainable community development/civil society and approval by your home Department. All candidates applying will be informed of the selection outcome.
