For the second consecutive time, UVM Campus Puebla will be hosting ARTFEST, one of the most important Laureate's events. ARTFEST is an international meeting of creativity, gastronomy, engineering, business, art and design that involves more than 100 students, professors and speakers from different countries, performing workshops and cultural activities sponsored by different brands of creativity, technology and innovation such as SONY, Sherwin Williams, Google and AUTODESK among others.

COURSE: $600 USD*

INCLUDES Registration at one workshop, ARTFEST welcome KIT, one meal inside the Campus (Monday to Friday). One

cultural visit to a magic town with its transportation (to be confirmed according to number of students and academic area). Interdisciplinary activities of Design, Art, Gastronomy, Communication, Marketing, Engineer and Architecture. Diploma of participation at the end of the workshop, as well as official Transcript.

*DOES NOT INCLUDE Accommodation, meals, land and/or air transportation to Puebla, local transportations, hotel-

campus transfers, medical expenses, meals, personal expenses, as well as all services not mentioned in this document. Does not include meals during the cultural visit. For the gastronomy workshops, an extra cost for supplies must be considered.

REQUIREMENTS

Have an advanced level of Spanish (B2), to attend a workshop taught in Spanish. Have an advanced level of English B1, to attend a workshop taught in English. Be 18 years old or older. Have a valid health insurance with International coverage with direct payment. Send the complete application file on time. The deadline is specified at the beginning of this document.

PROGRAM SPECIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC

It is required for each student to fill out the "Formato de Propuesta de Talleres", with at least 3 options in order of preference. The assignation of each workshop will be subject to availability of spaces. The enrolled workshop will be confirmed at the letter of acceptance. NOTE: To see the description of each workshop, schedules etc., check the document "TALLERES_Artfest 2017".

PROGRAM DATES

The absences at UVM are not justified under any circumstance; therefore, the student must arrive on time since the first day of classes. In case of any health issues, only one absence can be justified.

BEGINNING OF CLASSES: July 24th 2017 END OF CLASSES: August 4th 2017 NOTE: Attendance will be taken twice per day.

LOCATION

The second edition for the ARTFEST will take place at UVM Campus Puebla. This Campus is located in Cholula, Camino Real a San Andr?s 4002, Emiliano Zapata, 72810 San Andr?s Cholula, Puebla.

INTERNATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE

It is a fundamental requirement for foreign students to obtain International Health Insurance with direct payment and coverage valid throughout their stay in Mexico.

*NOTE: In order to receive a special price, the student must mention that he/she is going to participate on the ARTFEST at the moment of reservation.

In case of reservation, any situation must be checked directly between the student and the hotel. The cost is additional and independent to the payments made for the ARTFEST. ***UVM does not have any responsibility.

MIGRATORY OBSERVATIONS

It is the student's responsibility to verify and manage every aspect of migration and entry requirements prior to arrival in Mexico, as well as obtaining a STUDENT VISA if applicable.

UVM has no interference with the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs in Mexico, since the request and/or change of migration status is a personal and non-transferable process of the international student.

If the student wishes to stay more than 180 days in Mexico, he/she will have to search the process to follow in the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, in order to extend his stay and change his migratory situation.

NOTE: Please consider the necessary dates for the migration process in your country of origin.

APPLICATION PROCESS IN 4 STEPS

1. The International student interested on participating in the ARTFEST 2017, must do the process through the International Office of Home University.

2. Within the documents, it must be included the selected workshop to be taken.

3. The International Office of Home University will send all the applications and will follow the necessary process with UVM, through the next e-mail account: inbound.students@uvmnet.edu
