POLY-V AUXILIARY BELTS

The Dayco Poly-V belts are all made of EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomers), a special material produced in compliance with the latest industry standards, guaranteeing resistance, reliability, low noise and long service life. The main features are: ? Highly flexible for use on small diameter

pulleys ? Power transmission also with the back of

the belts, specifically in the case of the ,,DPK" (Double Poly-V) ? Resistance to very low and high operating temperatures

V-BELTS

Available in AV10 and AV13 types, Dayco V-belts are all made of high quality materials in order to guarantee: Excellent resistance to repeated bendings ? Low weight ? High transmission ratios ? Energy saving ? High friction coefficient, less slippage ? Excellent resistance to heat, oils, greases

POLY-V AUXILIARY BELT KIT

Dayco marine Power offers a range of kits which provides the market a complete system solution. Assuring long service life, high quality and performance of the whole transmission system. The Dayco Marine Power kits offer: Genuine or OE quality components. ? Complete replacement of all wearable parts

(belts, rigid components) ? Continuous updating of components

according to the evolution to the engine manufacturers.

TENSIONERS AND PULLEYS

Auxiliary belt drive components are designed to meet the ever-increasing demands of manufacturers including: ? Reduced workspaces ? High temperatures ? Environments with high dust/water/salt/

humidity contamination. ? High operating stress ? Increasing component replacement interval. It follows that both tensioners and pulleys/belts of the system must meet extremely high quality standards. The Marine range benefits from special surface protection treatments for metal parts and a complete sealing of the internal parts.

WATER PUMPS

The engine cooling system maintains the correct engine operating temperature. The coolant is circulated by the water pump, which must ensure the correct flow at each engine speed. The major elements that characterize the quality of Dayco Marine Power water pumps are: ? The bearing, that ensures constant

smoothness and the ability to support the loads generated by the system. ? The impeller, that ensures a constant flow of coolant at all engine speeds. ? The sealing, which guarantees at all operating temperatures and speeds, the bearing is protected from the coolant ? The pump body in cast iron or aluminium, that guarantees the correct stiffness and geometry of the system.

TORSIONAL DAMPER

It is a device that absorbs the vibrations produced by the engine. It is widely used in the marine sector to prevent damage and failure caused by vibration: ? Improves the performance of all components

of the transmission system ? Prevents possible damage to the crankshaft

due to stress. ? Reduces wear on the belt, tensioner and other

drive components. ? Reduces noise and vibration and improves

comfort.
