November 2012
To the Suppliers of Intel Corporation:
We appreciate the contribution that you and your employees have made in helping us achieve our corporate objectives this year. Intel believes that every successful corporate business endeavor is rooted in a strong relationship between a company and its suppliers. As you probably know by now, Intel is committed to achieving success while serving as a role model for conducting business with uncompromising integrity and professionalism. We set the same expectations for our suppliers. All of our employees and suppliers are expected to abide by the Intel Code of Conduct to ensure the following:
The human rights of workers, including safe and healthy working conditions Environmental responsibility in global operations Compliance with privacy/data security obligations Maintaining the highest ethical standards, wherever their business is conducted Compliance with applicable laws and rules, including anti-corruption, working hours, and hiring
practices
With regards to hiring practices, we want to note that in 2012 certain Intel and supply chain policies have been updated. We would like to clarify to our supply chain that Intel does not consult its suppliers regarding Intel's recruiting, hiring, or badging decisions.
In addition, as described in the Intel Code of Conduct, we do not permit our employees to solicit gifts, entertainment, or favors, from those with whom we conduct business. As noted above, our employees, as well as our suppliers, are expected to comply with our anti-corruption policy and applicable country anti-corruption laws. To help us maintain the highest level of ethical integrity and professionalism in all of our business dealings, we request that our suppliers immediately disclose any potential issues with compliance to our Code of Conduct or anti-corruption laws.
We value our business relationship with your company. Your continued attention to Intel's expectations and policies will help ensure our continued, mutual success. If you have any concerns, or are aware of any ethical issues or violations, please notify us immediately. Our legal representative, Renee Scatena, may be reached at renee.j.scatena@ or you may visit the Supplier. website for more information. We also encourage all suppliers to have an ethics reporting mechanism or hotline in place to help raise ethics concerns within your supply chain.
For more information on supplier ethics expectations, the Intel Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption Due Diligence policies, or Intel's hiring procedures, please talk with your Intel representative.
We thank you for your efforts in meeting our business objectives this year and for your ongoing efforts in meeting them with uncompromising integrity.
Sincerely,
Jackie Sturm
