CALIFORNIA STATE BOARD VENDOR SELLING PERMIT

California state law for Swap Meet Vendors requires each to have a California Resale Permit if they sell at a Swap Meet/Market more than 2 times a year. It is the law to have this with you at all times while selling. The State will begin checking these more often because of the current economic situation in California. Also, when the CA State Board checks and you do not have your current permit with you, Ventura College Foundation Marketplace could be held responsible as well as you, the Vendor!

For this reason, VCF Marketplace has created a card for each vendor that you can carry in your wallet or purse and have with you at all times making it easier for you to conform to the state law. It is necessary for you to obtain a Vendor card before September 15, 2013 to protect yourself and the VCF Marketplace. This card must be shown and will be required to rent a space every time.

To do this, fill out the attached form and have your current State Board Sellers permit. We will create this card for you and get it to you the same day. There is a $10 processing fee that will ensure the card is good for a year. You will need to renew and reapply for the new card every calendar year. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
