Verification of Result/Genuineness of CBSE X/XII

Procedure to be adopted for Verification of documents issued by CBSE w.e.f

1975 examination

Online- Result of 2004 onwards can be verified by the employer/institution by entering

roll number, Date of Birth, school code of candidate on following websites:



For current year results

For old results (2004-onwards)

Offline- Employer/Institution may send a copy of Marksheet, certificate to Regional Office

concerned alongwith verification fee of Rs. 500 per document and postal charge of Rs. 40

by way of DD/PO in name of ¡°Secretary, CBSE¡± payable at place where the Regional Office

is located. Verification report will be sent by the Regional Office to employer/institution

directly. In case of foreign destinations, postal charges will be applicable (in addition) as

per postal/ courier charges of that country.

Employers/Institutions are requested to contact concerned CBSE Regional Office for any

communication in this regard.

X/XII Examination Record prior to 1975 has been weeded out. Therefore such documents

cannot be verified by CBSE.
