SECTION 1: PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITY

|Principal Responsibility |To deliver effective resource planning for the range of CMCU activity so as to deliver excellent customer |

| |service, minimise pay-bill costs such as overtime and other additional payments, and to provide appropriate |

| |staffing levels to meet targets across a number of Key Performance Indicators. In particular, to: |

| |Utilise the Workforce Management (WFM) software tool to ensure that scheduled staffing duty schemes across all |

| |functional areas within CMCU match predicted traffic levels. |

| |Ensure CMCU line managers have a full understanding of the system’s requirements and abilities, so that |

| |short-term variations that are likely to impact on matching resource to demand can be managed efficiently. |

| |Produce and maintain effective resource schedules |

| |Update WFM system to ensure cover is provided for abstractions such as sickness, annual leave, training courses|

| |and that staff are aware when they need to attend for work |

| |Represent CMCU Business Support Team at CMCU tasking meetings |

| |Provide resilience for abstractions of the Resource Co-ordinator |
