Three separate heating systems: Owners quarters are heated with an oil fired, hot air system The Main section of the inn, which includes the public areas, is heated by an oil fired, hot air system The section of the inn renovated in 1996 includes two propane fired boilers that provide hot water, baseboard heat. They each have boiler mates that provide hot water for this section of the inn.

Guest rooms and owner's space is air conditioned with a combination of splits, central air, and window units. Public areas are not air conditioned.

The inn is equipped with a Life Safety sprinkler system. Hard wired heat and smoke detectors are connected to a central fire panel which has an automatic call out system

The outside of the inn is as beautiful as the inside. Mature trees, stone walls, lawns, and mountain views make looking out the window or sitting in one of the inn's lovely outdoor seating areas a special treat. The majestic Green Mountains provide panoramic views. For enjoying the outdoors in the fair weather months, there is a screened Gazebo and a slate patio with tables and seating for guests. Perennials abound.

Owners Quarters

An exquisite one-bedroom owners' quarters with a 22X27

living room that has vaulted ceilings and original beams. The Inglenook with its huge, wood burning fireplace is the focal point of the room and provides a lovely sitting area. The inn's office can be accessed from the owners' quarters or from the inn's living room. There is a covered deck leading directly from the owner's space. These quarters provide a living space in which the innkeepers feel as pampered as their guests.
