SEDATION AND ANALGESIA: non-ventilator
(Versed) Adults > 60; debilitated or chronically ill IV: 1.5 mg or less over at least 2 minutes. If additional titration is needed, give at a rate not exceeding 1 mg over 2 min. Usual max total dose: 3.5 mg . Reduce dose by 50% if patient was premedicated with a narcotic or other CNS depressant. Onset: 1.5 to 5 minutes. Duration: 2 to 6 hours. ................
