Ancient Trinity Chart with Verses showing the Lack of Distinction

The doctrine of the Trinity makes the following claims, as seen in this Ancient Chart:

But what does the Bible says?

Is there anything in Scripture to indicate Jesus was the Father? Jesus says, I AM not doing the things you see me do! The Miracles Jesus performed were by the power of the Father! They were not by the "eternal Son of God!" John 5:17, 19, 30, 36; 17 "My Father worketh hitherto, and I work." 19 "The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever

he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." 30 "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I

seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." 36 "The works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness

of me, that the Father hath sent me." John 8:28, 29 28 "Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that

I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. 29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him." John 9:4 4 "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." John 10:25, 32, 37, 38 25 "The works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me." 32 "Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?" 37 "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him."

John 14:10, 11, 31 10 "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto

you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very

works' sake." 31 "But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me

commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence." John 17:4 4 "I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do."

Jesus says, I AM not the source of the things you hear me say! The words Jesus spoke were by the power of the Father! They were not by the "eternal Son of God!" John 7:16-18 16 "My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know

of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him." John 8:28, 29, 38 28 "Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. 29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him." 38 "I speak that which I have seen with my Father:" John 12:49-50 49 "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak." John 14:24, 31 24 "He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me." 31 "But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence." John 17:8, 14; 8 "For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me." 14 "I have given them thy word;"

Jesus says, I AM not the one you see when you look at me! To see Jesus was to see the Father! John 12:45, 49 45 "And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me." 49 "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me..."

John 14:7-9 7 "If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know

him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me,

Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"

Jesus says, I AM not the one you know when you know me! To know Jesus was to know the Father!

John 8:19 19 "Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my

Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also." John 14:7-9 7 "If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know

him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?" John 16:3 3 "And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me."

Jesus says, I AM not the one you receive when you receive me! To receive Jesus was to receive the Father!

John 13:20 20 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he

that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me."

I AM not who you acknowledge when you acknowledge me! 1 John 2:23 23 "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the

Son hath the Father also."

I AM not the one you deny when you deny me! 1 John 2:22, 23 22 "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the

Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." I AM not the one you love when you love me! 1 John 5:1 1 "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him." I AM not the one you believe in when you believe in me! John 12:44, 49

44 "Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me." 49 "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me..."

I AM come in someone else's name! John 5:43 43 "I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own

name, him ye will receive." John 12:28 28 "Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both

glorified it, and will glorify it again." John 17:6 6 "I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they

were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word."

I AM the image of that someone else! Colossians 1:15, 19 15 "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:" 19 "For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;" Hebrews 1:3 3 "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding

all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;"

Except ye believe that I AM ye shall die in your sins! John 8:24-27 24 "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye

shall die in your sins. 25 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. 26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. 27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. (Note: the "he" in verse 24 is italics, added by the translators)

The Son, would be called the "everlasting Father!" Isaiah 9:6 6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his

shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

The above passages clearly show that Jesus was the manifestation of the Father in flesh. Thus Jesus was empowered by the Father in all he did. IF God were a Trinity, one would think that Jesus would have been the Eternal Son of God, and thus empowered by, and the personification of the Son. Why would the Second person be the personification of the First?

Is there anything in Scripture to indicate Jesus was the Spirit?

John 14:16-18,26 16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither

knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall

teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

Notice the Comforter to be sent was known by these disciples and was dwelling with them, and would dwell in them. Verse 18 indicates that Jesus was this comforter! Then verse 26 says the comforter would be sent in Jesus name.

Romans 8:9-11 9 "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of

righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up

Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." 2 Corinthians 3:17 17 "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."

2 Corinthians 13:5 5 "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your

own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" Galatians 4:6 6 "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying,

Abba, Father." Acts 16:6-7 ASV 6 "And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden of the

Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia; 7 and when they were come over against Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia; and the

Spirit of Jesus suffered them not;" Philippians 1:19 19 "For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the

Spirit of Jesus Christ," Colossians 1:27 27 `To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" 1 Peter 1:11
