The ID card is not an officially-issued government ID for any other purpose. Each business and/or store location is responsible for determining the terms and conditions of their participation. Participation may vary. The ID card is issued as a courtesy to San Bernardino County veterans to show appreciation for their honorable military service.

All veterans applying for a County Veteran ID Card will be interviewed for VA benefits eligibility prior to card issuance.
