Classroom Rules:

1. Be in your seat when the bell RINGS with your materials!

2. Respect to yourself, your classmates and your instructor.

3. No throwing of objects.

4. No profanity.

5. No cheating.

6. What you do during class time cannot be distracting or disruptive to the class.

7. Late work is -10% credit for each day it is not turned in.

8. No cell phones or electronic devices (MP3 Player, iPods, etc) will be allowed in the classroom.

9. No food allowed. Pop or water is acceptable.

10. Only 2 bathroom passes are allowed per semester.

Grading Scale:

100-93 A 77-72 C

92-90 A- 71-70 C-

89-88 B+ 69-68 D+

87-82 B 67-62 D

81-80 B- 61-60 D-

79-78 C+ 59 or less F

Grading System:

Points will be based on 3 separate areas

Classroom instruction 70%

Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) 15%

-10 hrs out of classroom & 1 photo

FFA participation 15%

-FFA membership is REQUIRED & must participate in 2 chapter activities

Classroom instruction grades:

-Final Exam -Tests

-Quizzes -Homework

-Laboratory assignments -Classroom participation

-Poultry Contest research paper -Vocabulary
