Sun Life is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Nazar as VP, Strategy and Market Development, in the Group Retirement Services team. In her new role, she is responsible for the overall leadership of Market Development and guiding the seamless delivery of Strategic Planning, Marketing, Investment Solutions, Digital Innovation, Product Development and Data & Analytics. She develops and implements new business strategies that enhance the business model for Group Retirement Services.

Since joining Sun Life in 2010, she was Assistant Vice President, Client Relationships, Regional Vice President, GRS Business Development & Client Relationships (Ontario and Atlantic Canada), and she was most recently Vice President, Client Solutions Centre.

Kate is a member of the Association of Canadian Pension Management (ACPM), Canadian Pension & Benefits Institute (CPBI) and the International Federation of Employee Benefit Plans (ICEBS), an external mentor at the Scala Network for women in leadership and honorary Vice Chair for the 2019 Ride to Conquer Cancer.
