Overview ? Background

Description This report was commissioned by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) in an effort to better understand the mix of gaming equipment product types and categories across the U.S. and Canada gaming markets to include slot machines, table games, and casino management systems. Methodology To prepare this report we utilized survey data from the EILERS-FANTINI Slot Survey for 4Q18 and the EILERS-FANTINI Central Game Performance Database (GPD). We included a special AGEM Census list of questions in the EILERSFANTINI Slot Survey for the 4Q18 period. In addition, we also collected information from various state and provincial government agencies as well as public data provided by gaming equipment suppliers. Sample Size The sample size for estimating product type mix and systems data was 431,000 slot machines as the AGEM questions were included as part of the EILERS-FANTINI Slot Survey for 4Q18. The sample size for estimating cabinets and denom by vendor included 153 casinos across 21 states totaling 90,798 slots and the data was extracted from the EILERS-FANTINI Central Game Performance Database (GPD).
