What is the 1932 Challenge? To honor the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's opening year, runners can sign up to run 19.32 miles as an individual or 193.2 miles as a team. Participants will receive a premium packet with limited edition swag and exclusive perks from our sponsors, as well as a chance to win a grand prize

What items are included with the 2021 Virtual Rodeo Run? The 2021 Rodeo Virtual Run presented by ConocoPhillips includes a stylish, lightweight dri-fit commemorative shirt, a finisher's medal, and a personalized bib. Those that register for the 1932 Challenge will receive a premium race packet, with exclusive swag and offers from our sponsors.

Are entries refundable? Entries are non-refundable. Your registration fee supports the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

 What if I need to change my race (ex. 5K to 1932 Challenge) or update my account information? You have the ability to manage this in your RunSignup account. Sign into your account at . Navigate to Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Transfer Event. On the Transfer Event Page, you will be shown your Transfer information. Please confirm the information is correct and accurate. You can confirm Transfer by clicking the "Start Transfer" button. Next, you will be shown the standard registration process where you can select the new event for the transfer. This concludes the Transfer Event Process. Once Payment (if needed) is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email for the new event. NOTE: CHANGES TO REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ONCE YOUR PACKET IS MAILED OUT.

Can I update my information after I have registered? Yes! Sign into your account at . Go to your "Profile" page. On the "Profile" page, Choose Races under Upcoming Events. This shows a list of the Race(s) that are coming up. You are able to manage the registration for the Race by clicking "Manage Registration". From the Race Menu, click Participant Info. You can make changes to the fields displayed. Once you have made the changes, click Update Information.

How do I create a team? You may create a team or group through the registration process via rodeorun. If you wish to create a corporate team or experience an issue during the setup process, please contact run@.

Teams are not required to run together. Your individual runs can be collectively recorded in the RaceJoy app for your team. You can also keep track of your teammates progress via the RaceJoy app!

When does registration close? Participants can register online at rodeorun and submit their time until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, 2021.

Can I just buy a runner shirt? When you sign up for a race you have the opportunity to purchase an additional shirt as an add-on.

Can I just make a donation? The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The amount of the contribution that may be deductible for federal income tax purposes is the excess value contributed by the donor over the value of goods or services received. Consult your tax professional for more information/eligibility.

 Donors will be eligible for tiered tokens of appreciation. The donation tiers are as follows:

Every donor receives a handwritten thank you note $35+ runner shirt (FMV $35)

Shirt sizes are available while supplies last $100+ name(s) listed on the Rodeo Run website (FMV $0) $250+ two 30oz tumblers and a notepad (FMV $80) $500+ 2021 annual Show belt buckle (FMV $200)

How much should I donate? The amount is determined by the donor.

Where does my money go? Your registration fee benefits the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Since 1932, the Show has committed more than $500 million to the youth of Texas through scholarships and educational support. Rodeo Run has been a contributor to the Show's mission of promoting agriculture and impacting education since 1988.

How should I expect to receive my virtual race packet and shirt? All packets will be mailed to the address noted in your registration account.

What awards will be given to race winners? No trophies will be awarded in 2021. 5K, 10K, and 1932 Challenge participants will receive a commemorative Rodeo Run finisher medal and T-shirt. Kids Run participants will receive a Rodeo Run finisher medal (note, this is the same medal as the 5K/10K and 1932 Challenge medals).

Where can I find my race results? Results can be found HERE.

If you use the RaceJoy app, your time will automatically submit to the results tab. If you choose to use your own timing and tracking method, you will need to manually submit your results to Run Sign Up.

Where can I upload/find photos? You can upload photos via Run Sign Up and the RaceJoy app of your experience during the virtual run. These will be public for all participants to view.

How do I record my results? For the 2021 virtual run, we accept results on the honor system, for the most accurate tracking you can use the RaceJoy app. You can also manually enter your time via the RaceJoy app or under the Results tab in Run Sign Up.

 NOTE: To be eligible for the 1932 Challenge prize drawing you must track your run via the RaceJoy app.

What do I do if my shirt doesn't fit? Can I swap it? We do not offer any size exchanges post packet shipment. All changes to sizes need to be made prior to confirming registration. We highly recommend that all participants view the sizing chart to order the correct size. There are no children's sizes for shirts. VIEW SIZE CHART

Do you ship internationally? The 2021 Virtual Rodeo Run is currently available only for addresses within the contiguous United States. We cannot ship outside the United States at this time.

When will my packet ship? To receive your race packet by May 1, you need to register by April 1, 2021. Packets for participants who register after April 1 will be shipped as soon as possible but are not guaranteed to be delivered by May 1. The virtual race is currently only open to U.S. addresses within the contiguous United States. At this time, we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or anywhere internationally. Shipping conditions may cause delays, so please confirm your address is correct when registering.

When do I need to complete my run? We ask that you complete your run by the end of May 9, 2021.

Where can I run/walk? Anywhere! This is your virtual run, and we want you to complete it wherever you want. Sidewalks, paths, treadmills -- make this race your own! Want to run with a stroller or Fido? Do it! We just ask that you tag us @RODEOHOUSTON so we can see these great photos!
