The Basics ? Each game is played on a "30-day" cycle beginning with the first business day of
the month and ending on the last business day of the month. ? Each player has $100,000 of virtual money to invest. ? At the end the cycle, all player's accounts are reset to $100,000. ? Trades are completed during normal market trading hours only. Trades placed
after normal hours are held in "pending" and processed when the market opens. ? The game uses real-time stock quotes from the primary markets of the NYSE,
NASDAQ and American Stock Exchange. ? Over 4,300 stocks are available for trading. Stocks that typically trade at low
volumes or in less frequency are not tracked for the game. ? Don't forget to use the Stock Market lesson plan found in the Educators site
