Student writes during this time and the teacher moves around room to conference with students. It is suggested that the teacher plan ahead to choose specific students to conference with daily and keep an anecdotal record of student’s needs, strengths or weaknesses. This time can also be utilized to conference with a small group of students who all need reinforcement in specific skill(s).
