Action Waupaca
Waupaca Programs # 2 Data
These are the agencies / programs that did not send in what they wanted to promote for volunteer needs. The data used for these agencies were taken off their surveys. These were the agencies that marked that they wanted to be listed in the publication. There were some that use volunteers but did not want any new volunteers. I added them and then listed current volunteers do... You may want to check to see if you wish to remove them if they are not looking for volunteers.
We have sent this out for folks to proof read and make any changes or additions. When we did that we sent the copy of #1 so they could see the format we wanted them to submit in and let them know we were trying to fill one page with their need and logo. I believe only 2 or 3 agencies responded that we moved their copy from #2 to #1 format.
The format we followed here was contact info including phone, fax and email. We know some of these agencies programs do have them, but did not list them. Several ones are very incomplete because they did not fill out the information on the survey. In some cases we left those items blank and know they need to be filled in. Then we listed mission, volunteer needs, skills required and age requirement.

Volunteer Needs: Volunteers are the heart of our program. You can make a difference in the life of a child by becoming a "Big Brother," "Big Sister" or "Big Couple" and spending as little as one hour a week with a child. In this Community-Based Program, a volunteer meets with their "Little" on a weekly basis for one year. Time together is at the convenience of both parties and allows for a wide range of activities. Expectations include simply being a friend, sharing experiences, celebrating accomplishments and listening to a child.
