EOSi maintains a drug-free workplace and performs pre-employment background checks.Position: Supply Chain ManagerLocation: Bourne MA OR Ames IAReports to VP, OperationsResponsibilities:Deliver supply chain solutions to minimize and control TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) in assigned spend categories: raw material, transportation and manufacturing costs.Analyze and report macro-economic dynamics impacting vendor markets, including but not limited to geo-political climate, federal / local policies, foreign exchange rates (Forex).Monitor, identify, and escalate supply chain risk factors and provide risk mitigation options.Negotiate and execute short and long term purchases utilizing flat and indexed priced contracts.Develop, execute, and maintain supply chain strategies to manage assigned spend categories.Identify innovative practices for utilizing non-conforming raw materials, and identification of new raw materials.Propose new vendors within assigned spend categories.Maintain and improve internal vendor contract management program.Coordinate and execute on-site vendor audits to ensure quality control compliance and while fostering strong vendor relationships.Develop and maintain TCO, and other relevant supply chain KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as PPV (Purchase Price Variance), cost reductions, inventory turns, railcar turns, others.Maintain planning metrics including but not limited to lead time, MOQ / EOQ (minimum and economic order quantities), safety stock, in-transit and on-hand inventories.Support sales team to review sales forecast and communicate relevant factors impacting costs, supply, and delivery. Perform cost analysis and provide quoting resources for sales team.Assist with month, quarterly, and annual closing needs.Assist with quality control to identify raw material quality risks, non-conforming materials, root cause analysis, corrective action, and follow up.Collaborate with other departments to manage identify, develop, improve, and execute written procedures.Attend trade and industry events related to goods and services being purchased.Direct daily rail shipments.Other duties as assigned.Required qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business, Marketing, or other related fields. Five (5) or more years of experience in related role.Experience in growing and managing a vendor base from multiple industries.Proven track record of growing and maintaining strong vendor relationshipsDomestic and international vendor negotiations and vendor management.Ability to travel 25% domestically. International travel may be required. Current U.S. passport holder, or ability to acquire U.S. passport without legal impediment.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders within EOSi and our vendors.Desired qualifications:Commodity trading and hedging.Experience working in agriculture, biofuel, and chemical markets.Active participation with ISO9001:2015 or other Quality Management System (QMS) programs.Experience managing railcar fleet, negotiating and working with the railroad.Experience working with QuickBooks, and ERP implementation teams.Demonstrated familiarity with GAAP accounting practices.Salary: Commensurate with experienceBenefits: 401K, health, dental, life ................
