Job Title: Vice President Of Construction Management Rodriguez Construction Group is looking for an experienced Vice President of Construction Management to help us keep growing. The VP of CM provides leadership, vision, and direction for multiple aspects of construction, including Project Management, Contracts, Field Operations, Equipment and Safety. This position will give you the chance to work on some of our firm's top construction projects. This role is responsible for helping the company to achieve financial goals and objectives, while increasing operating performance and developing short- and long-term strategic plans and pursuits. To succeed in this role, this person must fully participate in all aspects of managing the company including business planning, budget preparation and forecasting, capital investments, corporate policies and procedures, and solving internal or external issues as they arise. Job Responsibilities Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Construction Management position is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned Construction Executive who can provide leadership, vision and direction across multiple aspects of construction, including Project Management, Contracts, Field Operations, Equipment and Safety. This hands-on role calls or somebody who can provide exceptional leadership to manage day-to-day construction operations, ensuring the safety of our team, and the ability to meet production goals, while at the same time providing executive leadership through strategic business planning, budget preparation and forecasting, capital investments, corporate policies and procedures and problem solving internal and external issues. A hardworking and people focused leader, you will simultaneously manage internal and external resources to achieve over company goals, deliver successful projects, and will have the opportunity to work on some of the firm's top construction projects.

The following responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position but not limited to: ? Partner with the company's business leaders to develop both long-term strategic and short-term tactical plans for the organization around the growth and development of construction. ? Manage multiple projects, project management staff, field operations staff, equipment and safety management. Identify future work needs while anticipating future resource needs, including personnel, equipment and how this impacts future and current schedule projections. ? Actively participate in the career development of personnel (including lower tier supervisors and managers), including training and development goals, performance evaluations and trainings. ? Ensure skills, abilities and work schedules of Project Managers and superintendents are aligned to meet and exceed production goals and ensure profitability requirements. ? Conduct bid reviews and ensure the estimated and production expectations can be met and that overall profitability will meet current goals. ? Develop and manage highly productive relationships and partnerships both internally and externally. ? Participate in Pre-Con's, project handoffs and any other job required meetings. ? Ability to provide clear written scope of work for submittals.

Job Qualifications ? A Bachelor's degree in construction or related engineering field is required. ? Must have 10+ years of experience in the area of construction management including 3 years in a leadership or supervisory position. ? OSHA and LEED Certification(s) a plus. ? Demonstrable experience building, leading and developing teams. ? Excellent budget/P&L management. ? Ability to build consensus and relationship among executives and working groups. ? Competence with Microsoft Office Suite. ? Procore, Raken, P6, Building Connected, onscreen takeoff a plus.
