Success Magazine: Dave, you have over fifteen years' experience in the industry. How does this help you to better serve your customers at VP Supply on a daily basis?
Dave Bouyea: Having been on both sides of the industry, I fully appreciate the relationship between the supplier and the customer. At VP Supply, we not only look to create the relationship, but to instill "value" within it. This value is created by ensuring that we have knowledgeable, experienced staff to support you throughout your project from start to finish.
SM: VP Supply prides itself on a knowledgeable and experienced staff. How do you ensure you find the best team to represent your branch?
DB: We look for the brightest and most enthusiastic individuals we can find. Our business strategy is quite simple. "Start earlier, work harder, and stay later" than our competition. In doing so, it is important that we surround ourselves with good people whom we enjoy working with and who share our enthusiasm for the industry. We are very fortunate in that we have a vast network of individuals corporately to pull expertise from.
SM: VP Supply offers wholesale plumbing, HVAC, kitchen and renewable energy products. Do you work mostly in the commercial or residential markets?
DB: Locally, we have been gaining ground in the commercial segment and look to continue to grow our strong foothold in the residential/retail market to fully utilize our newly renovated 13,000 square foot showroom in Ballston Lake. As such, we are able to assist you in every aspect of your project.
Our commercial sales staff consists of a complete HVAC/Renewable Energy Division, Commercial Plumbing, a PVF department, and now a local commercial kitchen department. All dedicated to providing our commercial customers with the most competitive pricing and service that is second to none. This is the foundation of building a relationship with our customers.
In our showroom, you will find an experienced staff that is equally dedicated to creating an experience that you won't find anywhere else. We have designers on hand to help you create the kitchen or bath of your dreams within your budget. If you can dream it, we can do it ... for less.

SM: VP Supply Corp is offering a summer AC special at each of the ten branch locations. What does this mean for your customers at the Clifton Park store? Are there any other promotions coming up?
DB: VP Supply is an American Standard distributor. For our customers here in the Capital District that means quality product at a reasonable price and a support staff on hand ready to assist you with any of your AC needs.
On July 19th we will be having a mini trade show at our Clifton Park location. This show will feature products such as Toto, State Water Heaters, Grohe, Zoeller, Charlotte, Saniflow, and Watts ... along with many others.
In August, we will be having an HVAC trade show showcasing products from: American Standard, Lochinvar, Utica, Biasi, Triangle Tube, Honey Well, and Caleffi to name a few.
These trade shows will be posted on our website and are open to contractors and the public.
