This opportunity is a great way to understand and navigate current and future regulations with Senior Deputy Labor Commissioner, Blanca Villafranco, who will share best practice ideas as well as common pitfalls to avoid.

Speaker Blanca Villafranco, Deputy Labor Commissioner, Department of Industrial Relations

Blanca Villafranco has been with the Department of Industrial Relations, in the Labor Commissioner's office, for almost six years. Blanca started in the retaliation unit investigating unlawful termination complaints and currently works in the wage unit where she focuses on adjudicating wage claims to resolve disputes. Prior to joining the Labor Commissioner's office, she worked for more than 20 years at the Employment Development Department.
