Even if the peula doesn’t flop, the person running it will be extremely frustrated. So read up – this list is more important than many of us think!Be enthusiastic: If the kids see that you’re not into it they’ll take that as an invitation to do likewise. Have ruach! And lots of it!Spread yourselves out: Don’t hang with other madrichim. Whoever is running the show needs the madrichim dispersed to help keep chanichim quiet and attentive.Show up to the peula: Just because it isn’t your peula doesn’t mean you don’t have to be there. You must be there ready to help out. Show up on time with as many kids as possible.Don’t engage in side conversations: This is awful dugma, terribly insulting to whoever is running the peula, and it’s extremely disruptive.Don’t undermine the authority of the person running the peula: They want you to help, but they still have an idea of how they want the peula to run. Don’t take it upon yourself to run the peula.Feedback: If you feel that something is being done incorrectly or being missed, try to find a time and place during the peula to tell the runner discreetly. If you can’t do it this way, wait. Save it for after the peula is done.Help take care of problems that the runner can’t attend to: No one is capable of running a peula and taking care of the problem kids at the same time.Hashomer Hatzair World Movement Ideology: The 10 Dibrot(Revised May 2008)?1. I know this schedule seems all over the place, but just like a four day winter camp, this is something experimental. Please approach this with enthusiasm as opposed to disappointment because it leaves out some staple traditions. We are trying to give the best possible winter camp experience, not the most typical/obvious one.3943350689610000FOR THOSE WHO TAKE LIFE TOO SERIOUSLY1. Save the whales. Collect the whole set.2.
