Rainbow Buttons Party InformationRainbow Buttons is a little workshop in the village of Wheatley in Oxford, which can cater for up to 30 children/adults for a party or workshop session. We have lots of different options available to suit boys, girls and adults of all ages so we’re sure you’ll find the perfect choice.PVA Canvas Parties (6years & under) -12” minimum of 6 people or 8” minimum of 10 peopleEach child will receive a canvas with their chosen shape (over 70 designs to choose from) in their selected colour (6 colours to choose from) with either a large picture for ?15pp or smaller picture with their name painted underneath ?16.50 (12” only). (8inch canvases have a small picture and are ?10pp) They will receive special glue bottles and a large selection of buttons & charms to add to their canvases. The session will last approximately 1 hour for 12” and 45minutes for 8”. (PVA & Glue Gun canvas Parties can be mixed) PLEASE NOTE Rainbow Canvases are ?2.50 extra per person. This session will last approximately 1hrWooden initials - ?15pp minimum of 8 peopleEach child will receive their initial in their chosen colour with a large selection of buttons & charms. Party structure is as per the canvas parties. Initial parties are suitable for PVA or Glue Guns. (Rainbow Stripe +?3.50)6” wooden wall clock (7years+) - ?15pp minimum of 8 peopleEach child will receive their clock in their chosen colour with a large selection of buttons & charms. Party structure is as per the canvas parties. This session will last approximately 1 hour.4 x 3inch Magnet parties - ?15pp minimum of 8 peopleEach child will receive 4 wooden magnets (10 shapes to choose from on the day) Party structure as per the canvas party.Bath Salts Party (7years+) - ?15pp minimum of 8 peopleEach child will receive a glass jar, letter beads, buttons & charms in their chosen colour and a hot glue gun. A full safety talk and demonstration will be given at the start of the party. Once they have finished, they will make up 2 separate batches of Epson bath salts (2 different colours & scents) which will then be layered into the jar. This session will last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.Paint your own bag party (4years+) – prices start at ?10 per person. Minimum of 8 PeopleEach child will receive a Jute bag (3 sizes to choose from) with a stencil of their pre chosen picture. They will then get to paint their Jute bags in the colours they choose. The session will last 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on the size of the bag. Small ?10pp, Medium ?15pp, Large ?20ppPaint your own Apron party (4years+) . Minimum of 8 PeopleEach child will receive an apron in 100% fairtrade cotton drill. They will then get to paint their aprons in any way they would like either freehand or using our vast selection of wooden stencils. The session will last 1.5 Hours and costs ?20pp.Paint your own backpack party (4years+) . Minimum of 8 PeopleEach child will receive a 100% organic cotton rucksack. They will then get to paint their backpack in any way they would like either freehand or using our vast selection of wooden stencils. The session will last 1Hour and costs ?17.50ppCeramic Painting Party (3years+) . Minimum of 10 PeopleFor ?10pp each child will receive a Money Box (over 10 different designs to choose from on the day). This session will last for 1 hour. For ?12.50 each child will receive a plate. They can either freestyle their own design or use one of our many stencils. This session will last for 1 hour.Ceramic Frame Painting Party – Minimum of 6Our ceramic frames are perfect for the older child’s party. They can freestyle their own unique design using our paints and pens. This session will last for 1 hour and is ?15ppCeramic Clock Painting Party – Minimum of 6Our 10” ceramic clocks really are something special… and come with the hanging hook and full mechanism. Freestyle your own design on them or use one of our many stencils to start you off. This session will last for 1 hour and is ?20ppHome Craft Party – Minimum of 10 people for all parties (excludes 8” canvas)If it is easier for you, we can also attend your home or a venue of your choice. The details and prices of the parties listed above would all remain the same, but we would bring the party to you. An adequate sized table will need to be present at the venue. A surcharge will be added depending on the distance and travelling time. Host your own Rainbow Buttons PartyMost of our party options are available as a home DIY party kit which is a cheaper way of having a Rainbow Buttons Party! We can supply everything you need for button art, fabric painting and ceramic painting and the more you buy… the cheaper they get.. just let us know what you’d like and the amount and we can give you a quote.Adult Parties – start at ?20pp Photo frames, jewellery boxes, 12 inch canvases, Chalk boards or wooden initials. At our adult parties you have free rein of our extensive collection of buttons and charms in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. A full demonstration is given at the start of the party and then you are left to craft in peace. Price includes tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes and biscuits. You are free to bring along other snacks and drink (this includes alcohol) Adult parties are 2 hours long.Stuff your own bear Party – Minimum of 6 people This is a workshop party option, our 16” bears are available in lots of different designs and each child will receive a bear skin, certificate, aroma scent, satin heart/star and a drawstring bag. The tables will be lines with boxes of stuffing so that the children can hand stuff their bears and then add the scents and hearts/stars. They can then fill out their certificates and decorate their bags with using stencils & sharpies to take them home in. This option is ?20pp, you have the option of adding a t-shirt that they children can decorate using our fabric paints, pastels, crayons & pens… this would add an additional half an hour on to your party time and would cost an extra ?7.50pp.‘Stuff your own Bear’ Party Kit – Minimum of 2This is a home party DIY kit, available in any quantity. Our 16” bears come in a variety of different designs and costs ?16pp for up to 4, ?15pp for 5-9, and ?14pp for 10+ and each kit consists of Teddy skins, bags of stuffing, satin heart/star, an aroma scent, drawstring bag & Birth Certificate. Tealight Holder & Tea Light Making Party – Minimum of 8 (age10+)The children will paint a chunky ceramic tea-light holder whilst heating to different batches of wax with different colours and scents and then fill 10 tea light candles.. We will then clear up and break for you to eat any food and cake that you've brought along.. Lastly the children would choose 2 pretty organza bags to package up their tea lights and then decorate a white paper gift bag to take everything home in! This option costs ?23pp. Duration of party 2hours.Teacup & Saucer Candle Making Party – Minimum of 8 people (age10+)Firstly the children would paint a porcelain teacup & saucer whilst heating a batch of wax.. They will get to choose a colour and scent for the wax and add this to their teacup. They will also receive bonding wax to attach pretty mulberry flowers and gems to their creation! Whilst the candles are setting.. We will clear up ready to eat any food or cake that you have brought.. Once finished the children will package their teacups up with ribbon ready to take away. This option is ?20pp. Duration 1hr 45minutes.Parties of less than 6 - All the above party packages are available for smaller numbers, there will just be an additional surcharge added.Drop ins – no minimum, shelf priceRemember we are open Monday and Friday 10-2 Tuesday and Thursday 10-6. Why not save yourself a few ? and book your party in for then? Extras If you do select one of the food options with your party, then you are more than welcome to bring your own Birthday Cake, where a space will be given to have a nice sing song to celebrate. We can also add character charms to each canvas if you want to add a theme at an additional ?2.50ppLunch bagsWe can also provide party lunch bags for each child. They come clipped with a personalised heart/star shaped peg. Each bag contains a sandwich (ham, cheese or jam), packet of crisps, 2 portions of fruit, yoghurt, small chocolate treat/cake and a bottle of water or fruit shoot. This is charged at ?6.50pp for 10 or more children (?7.50pp for under 10). This option adds another 30 minutes on to your party.Venue HireAlternatively, you are welcome to bring your own food/drinks for your guests at a venue rental hire of ?20 per additional half of an hour, or just bring a cake and hire the venue for an additional 15 minutes for ?10, this is a manned venue which means there is no clearing up... We’ll do that!Sweetie Cart/Sweet bagsWe also have a Sweetie Cart that can be added to your party at ?2.50pp or mixed sweeties bags for just ?1 per person.InvitationsWe also have Rainbow Button party invites, if you would like to use these to invite your guests, just let us know and we will send them on to you.PhotographsWe photograph the entire party for you including an individual shot of each child and their masterpiece and a group photo. These are then edited and posted on our page for you to view and use as you please, we will also email the originals to you upon request. If you would prefer us not to photograph your party, please let us know when booking.Booking Terms and ConditionsWe have 4 slots per day on both Saturdays and Sundays (10am, 12pm, 2pm & 4pm) and can also host private parties after school. We take a deposit of ?50 when making your booking to confirm your selected date and time and the remaining balance is due 10 days before the party. Payments are non-refundable, but any items for children unable to attend will be made up into home kits to be taken away with you. Payments are to be made by cash or bank transfer. If this is not possible, then a card or PayPal payment can be taken with an added transaction fee of ?2.50. If you decide to choose a glue gun or wax melting party, you are accepting full responsibility for every child in your party and the dangers associated with using a heating device. Safety instructions and a full demonstration will be provided. Please ensure your guests arrive promptly at the party time but access cannot be gained to the venue more than 10 minutes before your designated time slot. Please also note that parties that run over their allocated time, will be charged at the rate of an additional ?10 per 10minutes.
