ACE Warehousing ACE Warehousing, embedded in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, enhances NAV WMS, providing mobile, real-time, data-validated access in your warehouse with improved control over warehouse tasks. This results in the highest levels of accuracy, while increasing productivity and customer service.

Each scan and entry using the handheld device is validated and recorded with time stamps by Dynamics NAV as it takes place, driving up productivity.

Works the Way You Do ACE Warehousing allows your on-the-floor warehouse personnel to make decisions about what to do next, while recording each activity as it happens. For example:

? Goods in the receiving area are scanned and the system dynamically generates a directed put-away that is fully integrated with E-Ship.

? Warehouse managers can spot check bin contents and make adjustments on the fly.

? Movements between bins are as simple as scanning the bin and its contents, and then scanning the destination bin.

? Items can be handled individually or as part of a pallet with a license plate.

Physical Inventory Without Freezing Bins or Items Outstanding pick, put-away, and movement transactions, as well as current scans, are taken into account when performing physical inventory functions. Users are not required to freeze bins or items during their physical inventory work.

Tracks the Work You Do All transactions created or updated from the handheld device are recorded with the user ID, date, and time.

Available ACE Warehousing Modules ACE Warehousing Basic Module

? Executes, updates, and registers Pick, Put-Away, Movement, and Physical Inventory transactions and bin contents that have been created using a Microsoft Dynamics NAV client.

? Bar Code Label Printing on personal and other printers initiated from the handheld device. Setup options enable users to print item and pallet labels for receiving and manufacturing at various stages of the workflow.

ACE Warehousing Dynamic Module ? Built on ACE Warehousing Basic, allows users to dynamically create Put-Away, Movement, and Physical Inventory Documents, as well as execute or register them from a handheld device in one step.

ACE Warehousing Pick/Pack Module ? Allows users to pack while picking, by capturing package or pallet detail during the pick. A link to E-Ship Pack Line Scanning transfers package detail for more efficient processing, providing paperless warehousing.

ACE Warehousing Extended Features Module ? Allows increased productivity by creating and processing Wave Picks. ? Includes the Auto Break Bulk function and optimizes unit of measure usage. ? Provides License Plate functionality including adjustments, movements, moving items between license plates, physical inventory of license plates and picking of and from license plates.

ACE Warehousing Data Capture Processing Module ? Wireless Receiving allows users to receive against

Purchase, Sales, Return, and Transfer orders. ? Wireless Consumption allows users to capture and post

consumption for production orders from the handheld. ? Wireless Output Recognition allows users to post

production output from the handheld.

? Provides the user complete visibility to all Outbound Orders so informed shipment decisions can be made.

? Enables forward pick replenishment based on demand. ? Action codes allow users to identify Orders that are

available to be picked for partial or complete shipments. ? Supports Wave and Combined Picks with or without

handheld devices.

Software Requirements ? Microsoft Dynamics NAV ADCS is required to use any of the ACE Warehousing modules, except Outbound Warehouse Request through NAV 2013. ? Setting up ACE Warehousing requires the use of at least one NAV Application Server (NAS). NAV 2013 or newer requires at least one additional service tier instance. ? Handheld users are licensed as lite concurrent user CALs. ? The Microsoft Dynamics NAV Extended License Pak is required for ACE Warehousing due to NAV Warehouse Management System requirements. ? Bar Code printing requires the Lanham E-Ship Label Formatter software module.

Handheld Requirements The following hardware is recommended:

? Intermec CK3, CK71 or like Handheld device. ? 802.11g Cisco Wireless Routers/Network components.
