Glad you asked! Pullman is located in eastern Washington State about 120 KM south of Spokane and 12 KM west of Moscow, Idaho. We're nestled among 25,899 square KM of beautiful rolling hills in an area called the Palouse. Our location is perfect for camping, hiking, skiing, kayaking, rafting, and more. We even have 35 KM of paved bike paths. Grab a fellow Coug, and go explore!

See it for yourself!

Meet Vietnam Coug QUYEN (QUIN) NGUYEN BA STATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS | CLASS OF 2018

WSU provided me countless opportunities to experience a true "American life" and share my culture with the community. I have grown so much, professionally and personally. And all of the experiences made my time at WSU memorable.

Upon transferring from Seattle Central College, Quin volunteered as a peer mentor in the International Programs Office. She wanted to help other new international students adjust to studying and everyday life at WSU. She also worked as a marketing and communications intern in the International Center, where she helped create and promote activities for international and domestic students. After graduation, Quin was approved for OPT and hired as a full-time communications and development assistant in the Office of International Programs.

After finishing her 1 year of OPT, she returned to Vietnam and is utilizing her degree and skills developed at WSU with an event agency. She is contemplating a return to WSU for a graduate degree.

WHERE DO WSU GRADUATES WORK?

You can find Cougs at the biggest and most innovative companies around: Microsoft, Amazon, the Boeing Company, Google, NBC, Marriott, Hilton Hotels Worldwide, Deloitte, Insight Global, Enterprise Holdings, and Energy NW, just to name a few.

COUGS?

WSU Cougs are creators, innovators, builders, and authors. We are motivators, self-starters, and scholars. We look to the stars while staying down-to-earth.

Above all else, we live our lives and pursue our studies with purpose. We come together from all over the world determined to change it for the better. And we are not afraid of hard work and leading the way.

"I love how many ways there are to get started in research here. I'm working in a psychology lab right now, learning the ropes. Next year I might even start a project of my own.

PSYCHOLOGY (PRE-MEDICINE)

JUNIOR

For Antonio, coming to WSU was a leap into the unknown. He had never been to the Northwest, but the promise of snow and the University's strong science programs beckoned.

The leap paid off: he felt a sense of community the second he stepped onto campus. And when a friend asked for help starting a club, he jumped right in. As VP of the WSU Cookie Club, he helps students meld the therapeutic process and delicious results of baking with a variety of self-care and mental health resources.
