CHASE MASTERSON

CAREER BIOGRAPHY

INTRODUCTION

Like the classic talents of the big and small screen, Chase Masterson possesses a rare versatility that makes

her one of Hollywood's quickest rising stars.

But the thing that thrills Chase the most may not be that for five years she's had a major role on

"Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," one of the highest-rated internationally syndicated shows of all time.

Or that SCI-FI UNIVERSE Magazine honored Chase as one of the top 20 people to watch in Hollywood.

Or that Chase was the featured guest star in the Emmy Award-winning episode of ER.

Or even that USA Networks gave her a science-fiction newsmagazine talk show, ordering twenty-nine

episodes for the Sci-Fi Channel.

Perhaps the thing that has made Chase the proudest is that her club has been one of the largest

private contributors to Caring for Babies with AIDS, a non-profit home in Los Angeles where

HIV-affected children live and other worthwhile charities such as Homeboy Industries, the Camel

Bookmobile, and Pop-Culture Anti-Bullying Coalition.

Or maybe it's that "Chase Masterson" was recently the answer to a question on Jeopardy. (Well, that's

up there, anyway...)

And there's more. Chase is starringstars in “RUR Genesis,” “Yesterday Was a Lie,” “Creature Unknown” for Creative Light Entertainment, in “Manticore” with Robert Beltran and “Terminal Invasion” with Bruce Campbell for the SciFi Channel. She also starred in “Lightning: Fire from the Sky” with Miles Chapin and John Schneider. Chase played Commanding Officer Callie O'Grady in Stephen King's thriller "Sometimes They Come Back for More" with Faith Ford, and alongside Bridget Wilson in "Marina" which was honored as "Best Short Film" at film festivals around the country. Chase made her feature film debut opposite Maxwell Caulfield in the film "In A Moment of Passion." Other feature film credits include "Sammyville," a fascinating psychological thriller in which Chase starred as a driven child protective services worker, which was featured on "60 Minutes II."

TV Guide Online Reader's Poll voted Chase the #1 favorite science fiction actress on television for 1998-99, partly due to the fact that Chase's versatility has allowed her to appear on several shows simultaneously. Her role on "Star Trek" began as a four-line guest appearance as Leeta, the sexy intergalactic casino girl whose good

looks and figure-flattering attire couldn't help the crew be distracted from her brains and focus on her beauty. As the Host of "Sci-Fi Entertainment," Chase led her audience to focus more intellectually on breakthroughs in technology as well as entertainment news. Chase also caught UPN's eye with her recurring role on "Live Shot" and entertained Saturday night viewers with comedic banter as the Host of "Showtime Nighttime." Guest star credits include "Sliders," a recurring guest role on "Sci-Fi Vortex," and others. Chase is often recognized by daytime viewers from her recurring role opposite John York on "General Hospital." Chase's resume also features leads in dozens of theatrical productions ranging from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" to musical comedy, such as "Cabaret." Chase was chosen as the host for the Annual International "Sexiest Geek Alive" contest for the three years the contest was held. "It was great, the Geek Revolution @ it's finest," says Masterson.

She recently released her second fourth CD “Jazz Cocktail,” a follow-up to “Ad AstraCrystal Anniversary: Songs from the Holosuite” which is Latin for “to the stars.” As well as her previous releases “Thrill of the ChaseAd Astra,” and “Thrill of the Chase,” a collection of jazzy torch songs performed in Chase’s own sultry style.

Chase’s mocumentary “Comic Book: The Movie” is available through Creative Light Entertainmenton . She appears as herself at the famed San Diego Comic Con. Chase also haswas the lead in a revolutionary science-fiction live-action comic book series on the internet, "Digi Girl" and stars as Imogene in the interactive game “Advanced Warriors.” and voices the Holographic Leeta for the Star Trek Online video game.

Chase Masterson's current and future projects are publicized regularly in print, as well as on international, national and local TV and radio networks, such as Good Morning America, Montel, CNN, CNBC, Bravo, Starz, E!, The Sundance Channel, Canada's Space: The Imagination Station and Britain's Sky1.

Unbelievable!!!!! (2013)...

Unbelievable!!!!!, the film, is an homage and parody of B-rated Science Fiction movies of the 1950's and 1960's. The dialogue is intentionally stilted; the acting wooden; the direction and camera work skillfully poor; as are the special effects which are totally amateurish and laughable. As well, the sets, costumes and props are all of makeshift quality. However, the plot is solid and propels the characters through the entire story as though it has a serious intent or statement. Screenplay by Steven L. Fawcette

R. U. R. (2012)... Sulla

They're called robots, but in fact they're more like synthetic biological beings and eventually they revolt against their masters.

Bugsters Nestled in the tiny village of Mudville is a little diner called, "Millies", and it has some of the most unusual customers you have ever heard. The Bugster's may be small, but they have big hearts and big ideas. Between munching on bark bread and moss greens, they explore everything from noisy roosters to ghost stories with fun, song, laughter and learning. In every Bugster's story there is a lesson to be learned. Lending star power to some of the character voices are Tim Russ and Ethan Phillips, from the television series, "Star Trek: Voyager", as well as, Chase Masterson, from the popular "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" television series.

Advanced Warriors (2003) (DVD) ...Imogen

The Advanced Warriors story takes us to a parallel universe, in which the planet Argonia exists in the same place as our Earth. Argonia is set upon by an invading horde (the Sirroms) and the Guardian Force of the planet which has held a watchful eye over the planet for over a thousand years has to find a way to save Argonia.

In desperation, the Guardian opens up a parallel rift between the 2 worlds and selects 4 warriors from Earth’s timeline.  These “warriors” have the inert DNA strands that mark them as potential saviors of Argonia.  The Guardian, using his all but forgotten ancient art , manipulates the DNA of the ordinary people plucked from obscurity. This manipulation brings to the surface the abilities within them - turning them into the “Advanced Warriors”.

Chase filmed this interactive online movie in the UK in July 2001. She plays one of several futuristic warriors, described as "cocky and caring." She says, "I am trying to adjust to my amazing suit. I am really excited to be part of the project and within this new technology media." The SFX are being done by LightWorX, Jeremy "Boba Fett" Buloch also stars.
