Artsy Rose Academy Summer Camps 2019

Your children will enjoy a fun Summer Break art camp in Oklahoma City at Artsy Rose Academy. We also have seasonal camps, such as Fall Break, Spring Break and Christmas break camps. We offer all kinds of art fun, such as painting with watercolors & oil pastels, working with air dry clay and creating recycled art projects. Summer 2019 Art Camp Hours

Monday ? Thursday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1 p.m. ? 4 p.m. Fun Day Friday's 9-4 p.m. (must send a sack lunch)



Childcare Available- "Rosie's Round-Up:

Once your child is registered for a camp, you have these options before and after camp childcare. If you select "YES" on the registration form for childcare we will call you to confirm the details.

Sign-In:

Please escort your child into the building and sign them in before every camp class, and sign them out after every camp class. On Monday's, please plan to arrive 5 minutes before your child's scheduled camp time to get them checked in and fill out any additional needed information.

Lunch & Snacks:

Campers will have an opportunity to take one snack break every day. You may want to send snacks with your child along with a refillable water bottle. If your child is enrolled all day in BOTH camps, you will need to provide a sack lunch with a drink and they will stay to eat lunch with us for Free until the afternoon camp starts.

Fun Day Friday's:



Every Friday is different and will include a variety of fun-filled, action-packed activities for kids in the Oklahoma City Metro area. These classes are a great way for kids to let loose, be creative and have some extra fun at the end of the week.

All camps are taught by experienced, working and teaching artists. Our teachers are certified fine art educators by the state of Oklahoma. Enrollment can be made online at or over the phone by calling 603.8550

Summer Art Camps

Week 1 / May 28th- May 31st , 2019:

Amazing Animals Art Camp / Ages 5-15 / 9am - 12pm

Unicorns, Llamas, Sloths, Narwhals, Sharks and more... Campers will learn about various wild animals and make up their own while discovering how to use many types of art mediums, such as watercolors, oil pastels, color pencils, dry clay and much more. Please bring a snack and refillable water bottle. Before & After Childcare available.

Acrylics, Clay, Pastels, & Watercolors / Ages 5-15 / 1pm - 4pm

In this summer camp, kids will learn how to make sculptures out of air dry clay. They will also learn special techniques when using acrylic, watercolor paints and oil pastels on various types of surfaces. Campers will create numerous paintings, drawing, and sculptures throughout the week! Please bring a snack and refillable water bottle. Before & After Childcare available.

Week 2 / June 3rd - June 6th, 2019:

Wearable Accessory Summer Art Camp | June 2019 / Ages 5-15 / 9am - 12pm

In this summer camp, kids will love making new accessories and putting their own flair on each piece. They will learn how to make clay and magazine beads for necklaces, washi tape bracelets, necklaces made out of decorated washers and so much more. Please bring a snack and refillable water bottle. Pirates and Princesses Art Camp June 2019 / Ages 5-15 / 1pm - 4pm

Campers will be transformed into a Pirate and or a Princess. They will create accessories to fit their favorite character, design a beautiful ship or castle, and establish duties for their new alter ego. Please bring a snack and refillable water bottle. After camp childcare available.

Week 2 / Night Time Camp & Fun Day Friday

Painting 101 Night Time Camp | June 2019 / Ages 9-16 / 6:30 pm ? 8:15 pm

Kids love to paint. That is exactly what campers will be doing each evening. They will get to experiment with different types of paints such as tempera, watercolor, fluffy and acrylic and use different techniques. Please send a snack and refillable water bottle.

Spend your summer Fridays at Artsy Rose Academy. It will be a "Fun Day Friday." Students will spend the day drawing, painting, playing fun games, making crafts, and either a movie or fun activities. This day is sure to please your kiddos and keep their minds and hands busy and happy. Students will need to bring a snack, lunch and drink with them. Don't forget to invite a friend. Artsy Gardening Summer Art Camp | June 2019 / Ages 5-15 / 9am - 12pm

Campers will have fun learning about bugs that are helpful in the garden. They will decorate their own flower pots and plant seeds in them. They will learn how to take care of a garden and make decorations for outside such as a wind chime. Please send a snack and refillable water bottle. Before camp childcare available.

Fun Day Friday Kids Activities June 14th, 2019 / Ages 5-15 / 9am - 4pm

TGIF! This day is sure to please! Students will create 2 to 3 art projects using various mediums. A few examples of projects are things like painting, drawings, collage and more. The rest of the day we may play games, such as outdoor, indoor, board, and Wii. Some other fun possibilities are playing cards, making crafts or watching a movie! Every Fun Day Friday we offer is different and will include a variety of fun-filled activities for kids in the Oklahoma City metro area. Please bring a sack lunch, snack, and a refillable water bottle. Before & After Childcare available.

Summer Art Camps

Week 4 / June 17th- June 20th , 2019:

Lego Mania Summer Art Camp for Kids | June 2019 / Ages 5-15 / 9am - 12pm

Campers will learn the about how legos are made, draw a colorful lego self-portrait along with other creative lego themed pieces of art. Campers will have daily lego challenges. Each child will receive one small lego set to take home at the end of the week. Please bring a snack and refillable water bottle. Before camp childcare available.
