Your turn

This 11-line poem will give you a chance to write about a person you know quite well: you! Do not aim at rhyme: use lively, colorful, and specific language. To avoid repetition, find other ways to express your ideas.

When you have finished your poem, take a look at the four adjectives you used to describe yourself. Choosing just one of those adjectives, create a symbol that represents that quality. For example, one of my qualities is humorous. Therefore, a symbol that could be made to represent that quality is a clown. If there is time, draw that symbol under your poem.
