2. Scroll down to and click on any of these Wilson Web Databases:

Biography Index Book Review Digest+ Education Full Text

3. You will automatically be taken to Wilson Web Advanced Search. The database that you have chosen will open immediately. To choose and search other databases simultaneously, click on the square to the left of the database(s) that you want to search. A check will appear in each square and the screen will change slightly.

4. Enter one or more terms in the blank boxes. Search “All” or choose a category from the drop down list by clicking on the inverted triangle at the right end of the search box. (All, keyword, subjects, title, author, abstract, journal name and year are some of your choices.)

5. Next you can choose to sort by date or relevance, or choose another term from another drop down list of categories

To avoid an overwhelming number of responses, you may want to limit your first searches to the last 12 months or particular years.

Note: In some databases, you may also limit to full text, which means that the entire article or an abstract of the article is available to read on the screen.

6. Click on start.

7. A search may take a minute. Be patient. You will soon see the first page of the results of your search.

8. Full text is not available for all of the articles listed. If the full text of the article is available, a square filled with black lines will show to the left of the first line of the citation. If the article is a PDF (also full text and contains pictures, charts, graphs, variety of fonts, or other graphics), a square with a red figure appears. If a Wilson Web Link or square with a blue arrow appears, you may be taken to another database that Lehman may or may not subscribe to* or to a search engine such as google or yahoo for searching the WWW.

*If only a citation and abstract are available, print out or note the citation. You will need to return to the Library homepage () to see if Lehman has a paper copy (click on Library catalog) or a different electronic version (click on Electronic Journal List) of the article.
