How to Find Peer Reviewed Articles

Use the ISI web of knowledge (Web of Science):

1. Go to the library homepage.

2. Click on Network Electronic Resources.

3. In the left column, Click on ISI Web of Knowledge.

4. Login

5. Click on Web of Science

6. At the bottom left, unclick Social Sciences Citations and unclick Arts & Humanities Citations.

7. Then click on General Search (Top left)

8. Search for your topic. You can use 'and' to join topics.

The majority of the articles that will be found WILL be peer reviewed.

Liu WP, Kozovits AR, Grams TEE, et al.

Competition modifies effects of enhanced ozone/carbon dioxide concentrations on carbohydrate and biomass accumulation in juvenile Norway spruce and European beech

TREE PHYSIOLOGY 24 (9): 1045-1055 SEP 2004

So if I wanted to actually get the journal I would go to:

I would then search for Tree Physiology, go to the journal homepage and search for the volume and page number etc.
