Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions

Plan a large reception in the beautiful Grand Hall, an elegant ceremony in the Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel, or an intimate cocktail reception in the Miller Hammond Chapel Study, Powell Gardens' event staff will tailor your day to meet your vision.

Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel

A premier ceremony location in the area, the inspiring Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel, designed by award-winning architect E. Fay Jones is a breathtaking space perfect for ceremonies any time of year.

Miller Hammond Chapel Study

In addition to offering a space for wedding parties to convene before their ceremony, the Miller Hammond Chapel Study offers a tranquil space for small gatherings and a comfortable outdoor patio.

Perennial Garden Arbor

This intimate respite offers a wisteria-filled pergola overlooking the majestic 12-acre lake.

*The Perennial Garden is undergoing renovations and will not be available for 2021 weddings or events.

The Fountain Garden

This gorgeous garden is built around a stone-cut floral pattern fountain that shines day or night with ever-changing water patterns.

The Missouri Barn

Located in the scenic Heartland Harvest Garden, the open-sided contemporary Missouri Barn offers views of a dramatic garden tapestry for a one-of-a-kind reception.

The Multi-Purpose Room

This private space offers flexibility for a wide variety of events, and is located in the Visitor Center.

The Grand Hall

Located in the Visitor Center, the Grand Hall is a beautiful setting offering vaulted ceilings, two majestic fireplaces and space for tables and dancing, and includes use of the Conservatory and terrace.

Event Tent

Event Tent (40'x40' or 40'x80'), Event tents can be installed in almost any area in the Gardens allowing you to host your ceremony or reception in a space that is special to you.

The Community Room

Perfect for a small gathering or meeting, the community room offers large work areas, proximal restroom access and beautiful views of the Visitor Center Terrace.

Powell Gardens offers a variety of venues that can accommodate ceremonies, vow renewals, meetings, corporate events, and receptions for any style and budget, at any time of year.

Holiday Parties

Plan a holiday event at Powell Gardens and receive a private space for 4 hours, catered dinner or cocktail reception, and direct access to the Powell Gardens' Festival of Lights included with the rental price. Holiday party packages start at $50/per person.
