North Carolina Math 1

"All your dreams can come true – if you have the courage to pursue them." ~Walt Disney

Course Description: NC Math 1 is taught in a collaborative learning style. Students will be working in groups to investigate, explore, and discover mathematical understandings. This requires cooperation from every student and parent in the class. Please ask your child what they are investigating in class. Continuing the conversation at home will encourage the student to persevere in problem solving, communicate about mathematics in the real world, and cement in their mind the mathematical understandings they have learned in class.
