Jennifer Prewitt has joined the finance team as Staff Accountant and Loan Processor. Ms. Prewitt is an honors graduate of Fordham University. She spent more than a decade in the credit union industry in Portland, OR before returning to her childhood home of Charlottesville. Jennifer rounds out the finance team including Marilyn Swinford, CPA, who joined Piedmont Housing in April as Director of Finance, Angela Vitale, CPA, who joined the staff in February as Accounting Manager, and Denise Harper, an eight year veteran with Piedmont Housing, recently promoted to the position of Loan Program Administrator. Piedmont Housing Alliance’s most recent arrival is Virginia Leary, a 2008 graduate of the University of Virginia who joins the housing counseling staff. Ms. Leary spent three years with the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society in Jacksonville, FL providing financial counseling to active duty and retired military individuals and families in need. She joins the team that is headed by Director of Program Services Shelley Murphy and Senior Housing Counselor Sarah Brazelton. Along with Ms. Murphy, Ms. Leary is certified to provide counseling to military staff through the Boots Across America program.“We are delighted to welcome these newest members of our staff,” said Executive Director Frank K.
