How to Qualify
Team Members can qualify for up to $2,000 in Community Care Grants each calendar year through the following actions in any combination.
Action Type
I Serve: Volunteer
Team Member Actions
? Volunteer with charity ? Record volunteer activity/hours in the Community Care Portal
(during the same year that the volunteer time was completed)
I Serve: Internal leadership
I Serve: External leadership
I Give: Credit card
? Lead Wells Fargo Team Member Network, Green Team, and/or
Volunteer Chapter during the year, or be a recipient of one of these respective programs' annual awards
? Note: Program managers will track and report internal leaders who
meet eligibility requirements
? Serve on the governing board of an eligible 501(c)3 charitable
organization or international equivalent
? Record board service in your profile section of the Community Care
Portal each year, as applicable
? Complete a credit card gift in the Community Care Portal during the
annual Community Support Campaign
I Give: One-time payroll deduction
? Complete a March one-time payroll pledge in the Community Care
Portal during the annual Community Support Campaign
I Give: Ongoing payroll deduction
? Complete an ongoing payroll pledge in the Community Care
Portal during the annual Community Support Campaign
Community Care Grant amount per year
1st time recording hours = $50 16 hours recorded = $100 50 hours recorded = $150 For every additional 50 hours recorded = $150
For each leadership opportunity that qualifies in the calendar year: $500
Cap year
The year the volunteer time was served/ recorded
The year the service was completed/ reported
For each board service role served in the calendar year: $500
The year the service is served/recorded
For each credit card gift completed during the annual campaign: Equal to credit card gift up to $2,000
The year the credit card gift was made
For each March one-time payroll pledge completed during the annual campaign: Equal to the pledge amount up to $2,000
The year the payroll funds are deducted
For each ongoing payroll pledge completed during the annual campaign: 4 quarterly Community Care Grants equal to the quarterly team member donation up to $2,000
The year the payroll funds are deducted
Community Care Grants, and all funds associated with Community Care Grants, are solely owned by the Wells Fargo Foundation. Ownership of Community Care Grant funds does not transfer to the team member upon issuance. The Community Care Grant program is unrelated to the Wells Fargo Performance Review process. Being issued Community Care Grants is not a reflection of a team member's Wells Fargo job performance. The Community Care Grants program is not part of any Wells Fargo employee benefits and/or compensation package.
