Dear Community Resource:

We are delighted to announce the 2008 Wells Fargo Minnesota Summer Internship Program. The objective of the program is to provide individuals in the Minnesota communities an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, demonstrate skills and prepare for regular employment. We have a variety of summer intern positions ranging from entry level to professional level. As in previous years, we concentrate our recruitment effort through community organizations, high schools, and local universities and colleges. Our continued focus this year will be to recruit ethnically diverse candidates.

This program is not designed to simply fill “summer jobs.” Throughout the program, interns will be invited to various events to network, develop skills and learn more about Wells Fargo businesses. If performance warrants and if the intern is available, it is our goal to assist the interns in finding regular employment upon completion of their assignments. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who:

■ Have proper work authorization to complete an I-9 form for continued employment.

■ Meet the position qualifications.

■ Are reliable and enthusiastic.

■ Are self-starters and willing to learn.

Due to the type of positions we are recruiting for, we are not able to consider students attending school in the United States with an F1 Visa.

Enclosed you will find information regarding these paid internship opportunities. The program is scheduled to begin in early June and run for approximately three months. In the email attachments please find an application for your clients.

We request that you help us screen applicants and, if you feel that the interns are qualified candidates, have them complete the online application on the Wells Fargo Jobs intranet site. The application deadline is February 29, 2008.

We appreciate your assistance in helping us screen and select candidates. We look forward to Brenda Granison at 612/667-9310 or email Brenda.Granison@ .Our TDD number is 612-667-6527.

Kind Regards,

Brenda Granison
