Career Connection Team

Career Connection Team

Q: What can I expect from my Career Connection consultant? A. Your consultant will serve as your primary point of contact for the job application process and related questions. Career Connection consultants are available to you through the end of your Salary Continuation Leave.

Q: Will my Career Connection consultant find me a job? A. Your Career Connection consultant will serve as a resource throughout your job search process, providing guidance and answering questions, but he or she will not conduct the job search for you. It's your responsibility to search and apply for job opportunities within Wells Fargo.

Q: How do I get a consultant assigned to me? Contact the Career Connection Team mailbox at CareerConnectionTeam@. A consultant will respond to your request within 48 business hours.

Q: Can I contact my Career Connection consultant as soon as I hear of my displacement? A. Yes.

Q: How does my Career Connection consultant work with recruiters and hiring managers? A. Your Career Connection consultant will partner with recruiters and hiring managers to secure requisition status updates on your behalf, as well as feedback on the selection and interview process.

Q: How are the Career Connection Team and Career Transition Services different? A. The Career Connection Team is an internal resource that serves as your central point of contact for navigating the Wells Fargo job application process. You may contact your Career Connection Consultant at any point after your official notification of displacement and continue to work with your consultant through the end of your Salary Continuation Leave.

Career Transition Services is an external resource available to help you move on to your next internal or external career opportunity. Career Transition Services is available for a limited timeframe and must be initiated within 120 days from your official notice date. For more information, please see the Career Transition Services flyer in your displacement packet.

Applying for jobs

Q: What can I expect from the recruiting process? A. The recruiting process varies for each line of business. As a general rule, we recommend waiting two weeks after you've applied for a job and the position posting has closed to allow the process to move forward. If you have not received a response after two weeks, contact your Career Connection consultant to determine the most appropriate follow-up plan. Also, at each step of the recruiting process, you are encouraged to ask the hiring manager or recruiter about expectations.

Q: How do I conduct my internal job search from my home computer? A. You will have access to Teamworks at home through your entire Salary Continuation Leave. Simply visit and select Jobs to:

? Search and apply for internally posted positions, including STAR positions.

? Create and maintain your online resume.

? View your recent activity.

? Create and maintain job agents.

You can also refer to the "Accessing Teamworks at home and online job search instructions" document in your displacement packet.

Q: I'm having technical difficulties with Teamworks at home. Who can I contact for assistance? A. For functional or technical support (including password resets), call the HR Service Center at 1-877-HRWELLS (1-877-479-3557) during normal business hours.

Q: I applied for a position and never heard anything. What should I do? A. Contact your Career Connection consultant and he or she will work with you to determine the most appropriate follow-up plan. Keep in mind that it can take two or more weeks for the recruiting process to move forward.

Q: Can I contact a hiring manager or recruiter? A. Yes, networking is one of the greatest job searching tools available and we encourage appropriate networking.

Q: I'm approaching the end of my Salary Continuation Leave but I'm still in the interview process for a few requisitions. Can I still be considered for those positions even though I may be terminated from the system before the end of the interview process?

A. If you reach the end of your Salary Continuation Leave and jobs that you have applied for are still pending, you can continue to be considered until these positions have been filled. The online recruiting system will automatically send an email to the hiring manager and recruiter to inform them of your continued eligibility. If you encounter any issues with this process, please contact your Career Connection consultant for assistance.
