Largo Medical Center, a member of the HCA West Florida Division, is a 456-bed acute care hospital located in Largo, Florida. The hospital serves as the West Coast Academic Center of NSU-COM and has affiliations with University of South Florida, Bay Pines Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Dayton Children's Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio and University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Largo Medical Center earned Statutory Teaching Hospital designation in August 2010.

It offers, jointly with NSU-COM, an accredited traditional rotating internship program, 7 residency programs, and 5 fellowship programs. The residency programs are in Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Psychiatry. Largo Medical Center also offers five fellowship subspecialty-training programs in Cardiology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary/Critical Care and Interventional Cardiology ? all five programs being offshoots of the Internal Medicine Residency program. In addition, Largo Medical Center is approved to train 24 third-year and fourth year NSU-COM students.
