No overnight camping on site. All RVs must be moved off site each evening.

CAMPING INFORMATION

St. Paul Lutheran Church just west of Pine Grove Mills on Rte 45 (5 min. from trial site) have offered their parking lot as an overnight camping area with the following Rules and Regulations for Occupancy:

1. NO CHARGE TO CAMP HERE.

2. If arriving Friday night, campers should arrive no earlier than 7:00 PM if camping at the church. 3. The campers must vacate the church parking lot by 7:30 AM each morning.

3. NO hookups – no water/electric or dumping at this facility. Must park in designated areas.

4. ABSOLUTE TOTAL Responsible Dog Ownership Manners must be observed with regard to clean up.

5. All trash must be picked up and brought to the Ag Progress show site grounds for disposal in dumpster behind Main Events Building.

REFUNDS

No entry fees will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbance, fire, act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other causes beyond the control of the organizing committee. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified or excused by a judge, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee.

REFUNDS FOR BITCHES IN SEASON OR INJURED DOGS OR HANDLERS, Less $7.00 per entry, will be given. Request must be submitted to trial secretary one half (½) hour or more prior to judging. A written physician excuse or vet excuse on official letterhead will be the only acceptable method.

HEIGHT DIVISIONS

Owners / Agents are responsible for entering the proper height divisions. All Height divisions will be offered in both the Standard classes and the Jumpers With Weaves classes.

Regular Exhibitors may choose to enter their dog in a higher height division than required by AKC, but not in a height division lower than the AKC mandated height.

Preferred The following jump heights specified for Preferred must be used in all Preferred Classes.

Regular Preferred

Dogs 11 inches and under at the withers 8 inches 4 inches

Dogs 14 inches and under at the withers 12 inches 8 inches

Dogs 18 inches and under at the withers 16 inches 12 inches

Dogs 22 inches and under at the withers 20 inches 16 inches

Dogs over 22 inches at the withers 24 inches 20 inches

Dogs may be entered at owner discretion 26 inches

There will be NO contact familiarization for Novice classes

PRIZES

We give rosettes for placements, MACH, PAX, and new titles. We give ribbons for qualifying runs. Those placing MUST earn qualifying scores.

MOVE UP REGULATIONS

If a dog earns an agility title before this event, it can be advanced to the next level of competition. However, written notice (Email preferred) MUST be given to the Trial Secretary no later than 6PM, the Monday BEFORE the trial. Move-ups will be added to the end of the running order of the class they move up to and every effort will be made to accommodate handlers running multiple dogs in the same class. This trial is open to all dogs age 15 months or older that are registered with the AKC, have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing (PAL/ILP), or are approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds. For further information on eligibility, refer to Rules and Regulation for Agility Trials and Rules Applying to Dog Shows.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Obstacles used by the Mt. Nittany Dog Training Club meet the specifications in the current edition of Regulations for Agility Trials.

NOTE TO EXHIBITORS

Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.

DIRECTIONS TO TRIAL SITE

Venue is at Penn State’s Ag Progress Days site. We use Gate K off Rte 45. Our blue MNDTC Dog Show sign will be at the entrance.

From the South / East: use 322 W to Boalsburg (322 Business Rte/Atherton St) to 45 W. Take 322 W to the Boalsburg exit. Follow 322 Business Rte to the second light. Turn Left onto Rte 45 West. Go straight till you come to a T in the road at the first Stop sign, JCT 26 S / 45 W. Turn Left and follow 45 W straight through the blinking yellow light through the small town of Pine Grove Mills. After this town you will start to see many open fields. These fields will have small blue signs with white lettering that will label the gates in alphabetical order. Gate K is the main entrance to Ag Progress Days. Follow the paved road from this entrance to the Special Events Building (approx. 1/4 mile).

From the West: use 322 East to 45 West and follow as above. If using 45 East, Gate K will be on your right. Watch for our blue MNDTC Dog Show sign.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.

The Judge's measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running.
