PUBLIC HOLIDAY - 22 SEPTEMBER 2022 - NATIONAL DAY OF MOURNING

This notice applies to the Supreme Court of Western Australia (including the Court of Appeal), the District Court of Western Australia, the Family Court of Western Australia, the Magistrates Court of Western Australia, the Children's Court of Western Australia, and the State Administrative Tribunal. It is made with the authority of the head of each jurisdiction.

All court and tribunal hearings listed on 22 September 2022 will be vacated in light of the announcement of the public holiday for a National Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II. All matters listed on 22 September 2022 will be relisted in accordance with each court and tribunal's processes. Parties, legal practitioners and members of the public should refer to each court or tribunal's website for particular arrangements made in that jurisdiction.

Urgent applications will continue to occur in the usual manner.
