Aspinall Foundation Scholarships2020-2021 Academic YearDepartment of Social and Behavioral SciencesScholarship applications must be submitted by March 1, 2020 to the Administrative Assistant of Social and Behavioral Sciences Department, Lowell Heiny Hall #413.Criteria for Scholarship Applicants:Demonstrated leadership ability is essential to qualify for an award.Overall GPA must be 3.0 or higher.The applicant must have completed at least 30 credit hours by semester’s end to qualify for an award. Describe your leadership style and the leadership qualities you feel are important in public service. The essay will be used as a sample of your writing ability.Three letters of recommendation from college faculty or other individuals who can address your academic work, personal qualities, leadership ability, and potential for a career in public service. At least one letter must be from a faculty member in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences from whom you have taken a course.* Do not staple any portion of the application or supporting documents.
