Sub Plans for Mrs. Upton's ClassDate:_____________________Substitute:_____________________________Events Happening Today:____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________7:20-7:50: HOMEROOM (19 students)My homeroom students should put their backpacks in the hallway, come into the room and begin to read "AR". They are allowed to sit anywhere in the room, reading silently. The only time they should be doing something other than reading is if they have make-up work from me or their math/science teacher. They may also go to the library if needed. No more than 3 students are allowed to go to the library at a time. No library after the 7:50 bell. Students are allowed to go to Mrs. Johnson's room to get a laptop.7:50: Take attendance on the Substitute Attendance Sheet. You will find this sheet in my sub folder. Send the attendance sheet to the office with either Natalie, Layna, Ramsey, or Braden. Also, if a student has a transportation change, in the form of a note, send that student to Ms. Sue in the office to get the note copied.7:50-8:10: RECESSAll students will attend the 20 minute required recess. Recess takes place on the playground. On Mondays and Wednesdays, walk to students to the playground where Ms. Resmondo and Mrs. Lowry have recess duty. You may return to the classroom. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you will have recess duty, along with Mrs. Johnson. At about 8:08, line up to return to the classroom. Our class goes to recess and returns from recess through the doors between the 4th and 5th grade hallways. All students return to their homeroom. (Please do recess duty on Fridays)7:50-8:20: Speech/Language: Ryan Wells and Tyler Krasnosky (Wed. & Thurs.) Mrs. Sivers will pick them up.8:10-8:50: INTERVENTION/ENRICHMENTAt this time homeroom students return to homeroom class UNLESS they have an intervention. See intervention schedule to know where the students will be. All students know where to go. The following students either go to Mrs. Lowry’s room or stay in my room:Math Intervention: (Lowry's Room) 8:10-8:40: (Tier 2 with Mrs. Lowry): Ryan Wells and Tyler KrasnoskyReading Intervention: (Upton's Room)8:10-8:30: (Tier 2 Intervention with Keirah Lillard): Layna Lowry, Evan Barrow, Sam Harp, Mikey Bird, Bryson Cook8:30-8:50: (Tier 2 Intervention with Keirah Lillard): Hunter Simmons, Trinity Slade, Shaylee Dykes, Jay Marcantel, Zach Parker8:10-8:40: (Tier 3 Intervention with Mrs. Upton): Noah Temple, Jacob Cannon, & Annasyn Adkinson8:10-8:30: Moby Max on the Computer: Harmony Knowles (in Lowry’s room) Enrichment Students: Braden Adams, Levi Blackman, Layla Brown, Alyssa Colletta, Natalie Hendricks, Maggie Hudson, Madilyne Saye, Bailey Goosen, Drizzt Wade, Ramsey Reaves, Timmy Flowers, Kassidy ColemanEnrichment students get a laptop from Mrs. Johnson's room. They do a reading computer program from 8:10-8:30, then switch to their math computer program from 8:30-8:50, unless I leave different instructions. The enrichment students should keep their noise level low so that the intervention students can focus at their small groups.8:10- 8:35: My Tier 3 Intervention Small Group: _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________If I do not leave detailed plans, they can sit at the table with you and read a story in the iReady book with you. If they have media, remind them to take their planner and AR books. Remind all students to get their lunchboxes. The P.E. students line up on the hallway between 5th grade and kindergarten hallway. Music and ukulele students line up between the 4th and 5th grade hallway. Media students line up between 5th grade and kindergarten hallway. All students put their binders against the wall at their 2nd block class.11:23-11:53: LUNCHThe coaches will walk all students to the lunchroom from P.E. and Music so you do not have to pick them up from P.E. or Music. Only pick Upton's Homeroom class up from Media on Week B and walk them to the lunchroom door. Yes/No it is my week to pick the students up from the lunchroom.If it is my week to pick the students up from the lunchroom, Mrs. Lowry will be going with you. She usually is at the front of the line, leading them back to class and you will be towards the end of the line.11:55-1:55: 2nd BLOCK (18 students)1:10-1:40: Ryan, Tyler, and Jax will be picked up by Mrs. Futch for their intervention (ESE minutes.) She will send them back at 1:40.1:50: Begin cleaning the room! Remind the computer helpers to take the computers back to Mrs. Johnson’s room. Send the car riders to get their backpacks from the hallway. Remind them not to run over the kindergarteners who are walking to the buses. The car riders line up near Johnson and Resmondo's room and Johnson will walk them to the parent pickup area. Send bus riders to pack their backpacks and they will line up outside of mine and Lowry's rooms. You will walk them to the buses, along with Ms. Resmondo and Mrs. Lowry.Whew, you made it!!!! Thank you so much for subbing for me today. Please leave me a list of any students who were disrespectful or a behavior problem and I will deal with them when I return.
